Casey Watts

Associate Attorney

Attorney Casey Watts first joined our firm as a Hearing Case Manager in 2013. Working closely with Attorneys Anjel Burgess and Laurence Christensen inspired Casey to attend law school and become an attorney as well. During law school, Casey honed her skills by interning for several government and public service organizations, including the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program, the Congressional Research Service, and a Judge for the Maryland District Court. Casey was also a Research Editor for the George Mason Law Review and participated in her school’s Administrative Law Clinic and Supreme Court Clinic. After graduation, Casey returned to Burgess and Christensen as an Associate Attorney in 2020.

Casey graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Juris Doctorate from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives, Cobb County Bar Association, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
